This seminar featured Prof Julie McMullen, Deputy Director and Director of Research at HRI. Prof McMullen leads HRI’s Heart Muscle Group, which is taking innovative approaches to understand the differences between healthy heart enlargement and heart enlargement associated with disease.
We also heard Warren Williams’ incredible story after he was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (an irregular heart rhythm) and had a massive cardiac arrest.
